Checklist "Documents to bring to Bamberg"

Please remember to bring the following documents to Bamberg (if applicable):

• Passport
• Several biometrical passport photographs
• Proof of financial resources (e.g. certificate of stipend)
• Proof of health insurance (if it does cover your stay in Germany)
• International certificate of vaccination
• International driving licence
• Possibly some cash (Euro) for the first few days after your arrival
• Additionally if you will be employed by the university:
  • Authenticated copies of your school completion certificate, university degree certificate and Ph.D. degree certificate in a German or English translation
  • Birth certificate, your partner's and your children's birth certificates
  • Marriage certificate
  • Police certificate
