Courses Open to All Students (HaF)

Our HaF programme is open to all students at the University of Bamberg. These courses enable you to:

  • learn a new language from scratch
  • brush up on existing language skills
  • improve acquired skills
  • prepare for specialised language courses
  • prepare for language proficiency certificates for studies abroad.

What is more, our HaF courses can be incorporated into various degree programmes—as required electives, for example. If this is something you are interested in and you would like to find out more, please consult the respective module handbooks and examination regulations, or speak to your degree programme representative.

All HaF courses can be taken at A1 and A2 levels, and in some languages the range of courses also extends up to B2.
