Application for a Master's program

We are pleased that you are interested in a Master's program at the University of Bamberg. On this page you will find all important information about the application process.

This is how the application works in general:

 

The Student Administration Office will be closed to the public on 24.02.2025 due to a training course.

The telephone hotline will not be staffed on this day, but you are welcome to send us your enquiry by email.

Please state the following when sending your documents: “Documents, value 0�, customs duties to be paid by the sender”
We cannot accept the documents if customs duties are incurred.

If you need a visa to enter Germany, please do not enrol before you have obtained the visa or can obtain it by the start of the lectures.

Important notice: Your application documents will be digitized and destroyed after we checked the certifications! Please do not send us any original documents!

If you are applying to more than one master's program, a single set of certified documents is sufficient.

For questions regarding acommodation, German authorities (city hall registration etc.) and individual topics that do not concern the application process you can contact the Master Welcome Center.
