Mourning for Professor Dr. Nora Szech

The Institute of Economics at the University of Bamberg mourns the passing of Professor Dr. Nora Szech.

During her time as Professor of Economics, especially Industrial Economics, at the University of Bamberg in 2012/13, we got to know her as an outstanding researcher of economic theory and behavioral economics, who was also able to inspire enthusiasm for her subject in teaching.

An appreciation of her numerous scientific achievements can be found in the obituary of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, where she held the Chair of Political Economy since 2013.
