「Workshop Computational Text Analysis in Party Research」

The Workshop Computational Text Analysis in Party Research aims to bring together early-career and senior researchers working at intersection of political science and computational text analysis in party research. This workshop provides participants with collaborative sessions and discussions, as well as an expert panel, featuring the following keynote speakers:

• Professor Carsten Schwemmer, Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich
• Professor Theresa Gessler, European University Viadrina
• Professor Agnieszka Kwiatkowska, SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities
• Dr. Alexander Herzog, Universify of Bamberg

The workshop is open not only to PhD students, but also experienced researches. We welcome submissions from PhD students across different institutions who engage with political representation, party competition, intraparty
dynamics, political discourse, or similar areas using computational tools for text analysis (ranging from dictionary-based methods to machine-learning approaches).
