Registration for Courses and ECTS on FlexNow

In order to learn about the courses offered by the American Studies section, please consult UnivIS (course catalogue). If you want to take a particular class, you need to use FlexNow. The registration process consists of two steps.

First, you need to register as a participant of this class via FlexNow before the semester starts.

Later, you will need to register again to receive ECTS credits for this class.

You can correct your registration or de-register within the registration period. Once registration is closed, corrections will only be possible in exceptional cases. Some types of classes (e.g. "Introduction to Literary Studies") may have a special de-registration deadline, which you can find in UnivIS.

Also, if you registered for a class but changed your mind, please de-register from this class to allow people from the waiting list to move to the regular participant list.

STEP 1: Signing up for classes at the American Studies section

  • Summer Term: Mid March - Mid April
  • Winter Term: Mid September - Mid October
